How to upgrade a license for the Iperius Suite?
In this tutorial, the process of upgrading a license for any Iperius Suite product (Iperius Backup, Iperius Console, Iperius Storage, and Iperius Remote) is explained, i.e., how to move to a higher version of Iperius than the one you currently have.
Upgrading an Iperius license is a simple and fast process that you can do at any time.
- Log into your reserved area from the login page.
- After logging in, select “Your Licenses” and scroll down to the license you wish to upgrade.
- Click on the “Upgrade” link you see in the row of the license.
- Select the higher license you want to upgrade to and add it to the cart.
- Choose your preferred payment method. You will only pay the price difference.
- Once the order has been approved, you will find your new license in the “Your Licenses” section.
The licenses for Iperius Remote/Console/Storage will obviously retain the same credentials as the previous license.
For the Iperius Backup license, there is one last step required to activate the new license in the software. Go to “Your Licenses” and scroll to the row of the upgraded license, where you will find the new activation code to enter into the software (see the tutorial: Activating Iperius Backup). If necessary, you can generate a new activation code by clicking on “Change/Regenerate code“.
The license will be available immediately if you have chosen to pay via PayPal or credit card. If you have paid by bank transfer, the license may take up to 2 working days to be available.
If you purchased the license through a reseller, you will need to contact them directly to proceed with the upgrade.
