Can I restore individual files from a backup of an ESXi or Hyper-V virtual machine with Iperius?

YES, of course. Iperius offers the ability to restore individual files or entire folders from backups of VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V virtual machines (and also from drive image backups).

This is an extremely useful and powerful feature, as it allows you to restore specific files directly from virtual machine backups, avoiding a full restore, which would take more time.

Moreover, since Iperius supports, for example, incremental and differential backups on ESXi, it is also possible to recover different versions of a file by exploring a backup taken on a specific date.

This feature is also available in the free version of Iperius, and it allows you to open .VMDK files or mount and view VHD or VHDX files. With Iperius, you can access any VMDK or VHDX file and explore its contents to easily extract files or folders with a simple click.
